I lived in Scottsdale from January 2020 to March 2023. I arrived a desert skeptic, but left a desert convert.

Hostile, extreme, and deadly to most species, no other place on earth produces as much beauty with so few resources as the Sonoran Desert.

California will always be home. But it has some competition.
